had it to our rescue operation that was under way. six people were inside the vehicle. all six were on the roof of the vehicle. they have been on the water for two hours before workers arrived. the dive team was first in the water. pulling these people i would. they have been air lifted to surrounding hospitals. they have all been rescued alive. obviously very cold. they are being treated for injuries. hopefully they will open the freeway soon. we have traffic backed up for miles in both directions. amazing pictures we've first brought to you 15 minutes ago. that is the latest on this story. we will be back in a couple of minutes. úw

unfolding in san francisco three fires in the castro district. will tran is live in san francisco with details. >> the three fires happen within 40 minutes of each other. fire no. 2, the fire department as well as the police department is still on the scene. good news as far as traffic they have reopened market street. if you have to get through here you will be ok. i will show you the damage. to victorian homes. on the third floor they are not sure how it started, or specifically where. once they feel the hot spots are out they will send arson investigators in. no doubt these fires do looks suspicious because they happen so close to one another. fire no. 3 is at hartford. for

while the had to block off market street. decrease the story is when they were fighting fire number to a police officer looked over and said there's of fire over there. the fire department had to rush resources over there. it happened at a place that was under renovation so nobody should have been there. i just got done talking to residents. he sent me some video let's show it. it happened about 4:40 a.m., the place has smoke detectors. a lot of people were woken up because of the crackling would, glass breaking, the smoke. a lot of noise in their building. they got out no problems, no injuries. 17 people have been displaced. they have smoke detectors in their by the way so everything worked as it should.

new video from a cell phone we just got in to show you the flames shooting from the roof in san francisco's castro district. a building three fires all close together in the castro district. one was a crap trash can. this one a lot of crews responding. they were to alarm fires displacing a dozen or more people. everyone got out ok. this is of person that is

looking up at the flame spirit the crews are still there because they think it is suspicious they broke out within 40 minutes of each other about 5:00 a.m.. arson investigators are on the scene. they shut down the area of market street earlier this morning. but this morning that has been reopened. >>the principal of a placerville elementary school is dead after a shooting on the campus in the sierra foothills community.investigators say the school's janitor, john luebbers, shot and killed louisiana schnell school principal sam lacara in the principal's office wednesday morning. authorities locked down the school for several hours but no students were injured.parents and guardians were able to pick up the students later in the day.police say they're not sure if there was a dispute between the janitor and the principal. and that they got a historian at oklahoma. the pickup truck
